Utrecht

Utrecht is an open, hospitable and international city, a city where human rights are important. In 2012, Navanethem Pillay, the then United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, called Utrecht ‘the first human rights city of the Netherlands’. This is a honorable title and, more importantly, also a task for the city.
